NHRA is running this fanpoll on there facebook page. Thought it would be cool to do the same here :D

Chris Demke and his lovely partner Cookie (bias there) Shelly Anderson (she's an absolute riot), The Lagana's, can I add a crew chief? Alan Johnson because he would bring a nice drop of wine with him, and Larry McBride.

Big, Greek, Snake, Kalitta, & Ace.
Just for the stories of on the road.
At Alexis Dejoria's party at the World Finals this year the Ace was sitting across from me at the table I was at and he was very cool to talk to. Big, and Greek are pretty cool also... But, the guys with some of the best old time stories that I have ever heard are Kalitta and Big Jim Dunn.:)

I'm gonna' go with .. Guger, Kalitta, Snake, Shirley, and Bergler ...

They all have strong ties to the innovative side at varied time frames, have enough overlap and familiarity to gel, and could riff off one another to get the conversation into the weeds - where the best info and stories are..

Raymond Beatle, T.C. Lemmons (sp), Richard Thorpe, Connie Swingle, Kalitta, Snake, Goldstein, Jim Niclole, Big and don't forget some of the early manufactures. I could name many more from the 60 and 70s that I've met and listened to but we couldn't find a meeting place willing to allow them all be there at once.

The past four years, the British Drag Racing Hall of Fame has expanded its induction ceremony to a full gala weekend, with US drag racing legends flying over to join us. We kicked off in 2014 with none other than Big himself, accompanied by all his family.

Four weeks ago, our 2017 US guest list included Connie Kalitta, Roland Leong, Dale Emery, Tom Hoover, Ed The Ace, Marvin Graham (Who?), Joe Schubeck, Bob Muravez (subbing for Floyd Lippencotte Jr.), Jim Oberhofer, Clay Millican, Jeff Lutz, Ron Hope (Rat Trap).

We presented our annual Lucas Oil Global Achievement Award to Steve Gibbs, who, like Big in 2014, brought his whole family over for the occasion.

In the afternoon before the dinner, we hold a public Bench Racing session, with all the stars (plus a few Brits) lined up in front of an audience of fans and invited to tell any and all stories that come to mind. The event is moderated brilliantly by Bob McClurg. And admission is free. How's that for a Saturday afternoon's entertainment?

The previous two years, our guests have included Ed Iskenderian (crossing the Atlantic at 95 years old), Don Schumacher, Paula Murphy, 'Waterbed' Fred Miller, Bruce Larson, Carl Olson, Harry Hibler, Roland Stuart (TF Bike) and Eileen Daniels, plus several of this year's contingent who like it so much they make return visits.

I've got to tell you, it's one heck of a weekend.

I'm going old school. Jerry Ruth, Frank Bradley, Dale Pulde, Jungle and Larry Fullerton

Met Frank Bradley in 86 he was using a friends shop while he was match racing in Midwest, we sat down with him drinking beer and bench racing and he told some stories a lot was about Shirley M, really nice guy.
