I hope NHRA TV is better as the season goes on....

I may be harsh but first show of the year and 10 mins late, i think nhra fans will be pushed around alot this year

So what's new. Always delayed for anything and everything from bowling, basketball, fishing..... ESPN shows NHRA no love at all. I wish NHRA would move to Speed.

I just visited Poker-mater.com. They are upset that they had to watch pro stock qualifying for the first 15 minutes of their show.

while on topic of tv, anyone know where i can watch online ? im in canada and we dont get espn 2 up here, and espn 3 online you have to have american provider, next week i get my direct tv reciver on an account from an american friend but kinda wanna watch today. ?

Maybe at Speed there would be better coverage. ESPN does not list NHRA on it's main website. You have to drill down 2 layers to find NHRA. And this is with 4-6 hours of NHRA programming on ESPN during the season. Hardly ever see NHRA on Sports Center either. So while ESPN has more potential viewership than Speed, without any NHRA coverage on ESPN other than race day and Sat night it is a waste. May as well cater to the fan base anyway.

I've found out more about this recently. Apparently the people who run Speed are busy not making any friends. Forrest Lucas, for example, just can't get along with them, from what I'm told. He has recently made a huge investment in Mav TV in hopes of having a better venue to air all his content (the Monster shows, the dirt shows, the boat shows, etc.). Maybe, someday that's an avenue for the NHRA as well. But from what I understand, Speed just isn't in the future.

Speed isn't interested in ANYTHING that's not NASCAR, they've run off pretty much everything else but Formula 1...

OTOH, I've got a PC hooked to my TV and I'm really digging the ESPN3 coverage so far :D

What exactly do you have to have and do to hook your laptop to the tv?
