Not taking nothing away from WJ or his accomplishments, but Justin is a younger guy that has name recognition in the sport compact scene and is probably in the age demographic of the crowd that Gm would market the Cobalt SS to. Plus, he has the approval of "Mad Dog" and WJ. That means a lot to me....

Justin is a great driver, but I just have one thing to say....

Didn't WJ say multiple times he will not lease his motors? What is up this time?

I can make a safe bet before the end of the year you will see this headline on NHRA's site:

"Veteran driver Warren Johnson to retire, Justin Humphreys tapped as replacement."

I'm with Mike. Name the bet.

This isn't the first time WJ has let others use his power, not by a bunch.

Actually you are all wrong, there was a pretty big infuence in the decision Warren made, do not take that wrong either. WJ is no doubt a self driven and highly motivated person, and he does what he thinks, but every now and then, even the hardest of heads hear something someone may suggest, good luck to all, and especially to KJ. I grew up at the track with KJ, he has done this a long time, and a championship would be great for him, BG
