That's easy...WJ makes more power than Maskin...and almost makes as much power as Roy Johnson's HEMI's!

I'm sure Justin will be far more comfortable running slower et's...it'll be easier to hit his shift points!

Hmmmm, alot of people were up in arms accusing greg anderson of adding a third car for diving/blocking etc., now a 3rd wj powered car arrives just in time for the countdown, driven by the same guy who buried anderson for the 2007 championship. it ought to be interesting to see what happens when Humphries lines up against kurt.

It's one thing to be a team car and quite another to be purchasing/leasing your powerplants. Did I miss something in Scoop's article where Justin was joining the team?

No worries James. He'll bring fewer ponies to North Carolina and won't be able to block near as well as when he had HEMI power! :D

I predict a triple gainer with a double back flip, quadruple twist ending with a huge cannonball for a PERFECT 10. There's an old saying, when in Rome,do as the Romans do. WJ didn't start this 3 car crap but he might just very well end it.I got wind of this yesterday afternoon and was wondering how long it was going to take to get out, guess I now know.

Let's see, fewer ponies huh? I guess with WJ setting top spend @ several races this year,HP is no problem. Answer me this, what would have happened if Justin had met AJ during eliminations? I think we all know the answer,so don't waste your time responding.

they did meet at the Reading race i believe...AJ won on a small hole shot...

I guess you missed one of the greatest pro stock drivers in history calling Justin one of the best and a true natural. The fact that he kept that team as close to the top 10 as he did driving two different cars, under performing horsepower for the first half of the year, and really not having a crew chief for half the season is pretty amazing. There are a lot of other teams who have been racing longer, made no changes, and did worse than he did. I understand that you love Mopar and you are sad to see him go but that doesn't give you the right to comment on his driving.

Justin is a great driver, but I just have one thing to say....

Didn't WJ say multiple times he will not lease his motors? What is up this time?

I can make a safe bet before the end of the year you will see this headline on NHRA's site:

"Veteran driver Warren Johnson to retire, Justin Humphreys tapped as replacement."

You're on,name the bet.

doesnt anybody notice a pattern goin on here? first KB brings out a 3rd pro stock/"data car" then we all find out a couple days later that Cagnazzi has a guy hes liscencing and planning on putting in a 3rd car...Now WJ with his motors...Just my opinion, but I think its genious...if you got the money to fund a 3rd car or throw your motors in peoples cars for extra data whos to blame anybody for that? Sounds like a sure-fire way to get faster or win more races to me...(again just my opinion)

I would think that Justin would NOT be the diving type. And yes, I do remember Mr. Glidden calling him one of the best. I sure hope that he can make some noise. I like his chances.:D

Mike,

I'm just having a little good spirited fun here...tongue in cheek only. I have absolutely no problem with Justin moving over to WJ. It was cool having him in a Dodge and it was especially generous of DSR and the Johnsons to provide him a ride. It's all good....

Chris,

Just having some fun here. Justin is a great driver. He'll do well over at WJ's camp. I wish him well...until he lines up against AJ or the Cagnazzi cars! ;)
