From DRO : "Schumacher said he talked to NHRA VP Graham Light, who said the sanctioning body’s original press release was “not written correctly.”

damn typo's geeezz
Imagine that. I'm sure they only figured it out after Force talked to them.

Let's just say that a driver with 4 test days is allowed to test another car that hasn't used it's test days. With that in mind, everything is fine so long as that driver doesn't drive the car he/she tested at the next race. The drivers should be back in their original cars with their respective crew chief tuning. It's about to get interesting!!!

OK here's questions...

Is it test days or laps run?.....

And i haven't heard alot of John testing this year...but did the Night of Fire count as a test?

If i am understand the wording of this.. DSR could say make Dale Creasey, Gray Densham or Jack Wyatt a satalite team give them a new car and body(to their team) and have say the NAPA crew and driver go help them set it up in testing?

No not slamming Force for figuring out how the rule works just a way for other teams to work it.....

Billy

I have not talked to NHRA about this situation. The rules are clearly written to include the team and driver. NHRA and Force have their own policies

unless your getting beaten every weekend by a schumacher car or a pedregon car and your name is John Force. Then the rules is open to interperation.

It's not too late for Tony, and Cruz to swap cars/crews, or Ron, and Matt to swap cars/crews either, they would probably fair better than Robert in John's car because Tony's, and Ron's cars are better (more consistant) than John's is.

A week ago I thought there was a news story on Hight using his last test session In Indy on Mon. on nhra.com I can't find It now.Can someone point me In the right direction to find It. I would like to read It again.
