That is my source of irritation on this matter.

I did a quick glance at US Constitution to see where it says that Congress can pimp their services to anyone who waves a few millions before them and for some reason I can't find where it is listed in the document.

It's probably my fault for expecting Congress to abide by their duties and responsibilities as defined in Constitution.

Solution is to vote out every incumbent next election as Tom Montgomery suggested earlier in this thread.

That is only part of the solution. When you have the proverbial fox guarding the hen houses, you will lose chickens.

Who head up most of the regulatory agencies that are there to protect and where do their interests lay?

I read somewhere that the head lobbyist for the Cattleman's Association is also the number 2 person in the USDA responsible for managing the Mad Cow situation. Don't get me wrong, I love beef and will pick a steak over pork or chicken most of the time. But how many people could potentially be affected by this?

In 2004, there were new overtime rules introduced. The Department of Labor at that time published guidelines for employers on how to avoid paying more, by lowering the base wage as an example.

Who gets to examine the voting machines for security and reliability to ensure that votes are accurately tallied... you the voter, or the corporations that produce them?

When Bud Selig whipped out Major Leauge Baseballs checkbook and signed a fifty million dollar check, thats when. Anytime you have ten thousand lawyers working in one place, DC/ Capitol Hill, and MLB wants an investigation done do you think they will turn thier back on it????? The Constitution was written by a few Lawyers, Statesmen, Radicals, Entrepenuers, ect who had to fight for thier freedom (and ours), then wrote the best document they could to protect us and guarrantee our rights as far into the future as THEY could forsee. Fast forward two hundred thirty one years and it's a much differant World, Money & Politics run the landscape on "the Hill".
