Heartland Park Division v race

Such a great racetrack, in a great geographic area for people to travel to. I wish my money making life didn't keep getting in the way of my money spending life .... had to cancel this double race and just found out I have to cancel the Brainerd double too .... ugh.
One thing I learned talking to the big national points chasing sportsman teams .... these races with huge car counts carry so many points with the extra rounds that eventual national champion is very likely claiming points from both of these races.

I like going to the divisional more than the national event. Here in Phoenix, they run the National & a week later, the Div 7 race. A lot of teams stay over for the divisional & we get a lot of heavy hitters in all the classes. Plus I can wander around without the crowds & I really enjoy that. Best car show in the world. One running joke is that Manitoba Canada shuts down because everyone is at the races. HA
Where did this number come from? Not even close best I can tell. Stock was the biggest class Thursday with 84 cars, TD 59, TS 38, Comp 20, Super Stock 55, plus 13 total Alcohol cars and 21 scooters. Pretty sure there aren't 500 cars in the .90 classes there.

I was definitely underestimating. .90 classes were huuuuuge. SC and SG we're like Indy size. Over 170 in SC. The one that jumps out is SST ... over 100 cars. Was actually surprised at stock and super stock ... not very large compared to any other divisional.
