STANFIELD AND TEAM DOING HOMEWORK

BOSSIER CITY, LA (May 18, 2011) – Greg Stanfield and his J&T Racing, Nitrofish, Coffman Tank Trucks, Indicom Electric Pontiac GXP is looking to come out of Topeka with a different outcome than Atlanta last weekend.

Stanfield has been extremely strong all year, however last weekend seemed to be a slight hiccup in the road. After trying some new things in Atlanta, and them not working out as planned, Stanfield and his team went back to basics.

Heading into the 23rd annual NHRA Summer Nationals in Topeka, Kansas this weekend, Stanfield is hoping to get back on track.

“We are not going to make the same mistake as last weekend,” says Stanfield. “We are doing our homework and we hope to avoid the outcome of Atlanta. We just have to get back on the path we were on at the beginning of the year and everything will be fine.”

Stanfield sits fourth in the NHRA Full Throttle Championship point standings.
The Pro Stock car field will have their first of four qualifying sessions at 5 p.m. CST on Friday, May 20.
