NOT BAD FOR STANFIELD ON FRIDAY

BOSSIER CITY, LA (May 20, 2011) – Greg Stanfield and his J&T Racing, Nitrofish, Coffman Tank Trucks, Indicom Electric Pontiac GXP had a much better start to his weekend than the last one. Coming into Heartland Park Topeka, Stanfield and team knew they needed to step it up a notch.

Running a 6.676 at 205.76 mph, Stanfield would put his GXP in the number five spot after two qualifying attempts on Friday in Topeka, Kansas.

“Not a bad day,” said Stanfield. “It looks as if we are back on track, and it feels great. After last weekend, we needed a good start in Topeka. I’m looking forward to racing this weekend.”

There are two more qualifying sessions tomorrow, first one starting at 11 a.m. CST.
