Good Rod Fuller Article

WTF is Fuller talking about? He could be a crew chief? David Powers was the first team to pay drivers and crew chiefs big salaries and have the first big hospitality area? C'mon man!

This is why I would be a TERRIBLE reporter. If I had conducted that interview with him, I would have had to call him on some of that, or at least ask a follow up question or 3. Then I would be considered a d!ck by the drivers and no one would want to do interviews with me.

I do hope Rod gets a ride, I am all for more cars and teams and a character like Rod could only make it more interesting, whether you like him or not.

one of the oddest articles i've read in a while.
maybe fuller and ashley will resurface together

Sometimes it can be difficult when something implodes to really understand the root causes. Did the guy in charge make the right moves? Did they rub people the wrong way? Did they misunderstand the intricacies of their market? Or was the market just not there as it seemed to be at the start? Did they have the right leadership skills? Did they hire the right people and build a good team? Did the money dry up because the business model was wrong? Or did poor execution just make the business model seem wrong?

I would love to understand the back story to this, because what I see in this article looks like little more than excuses.
