Good Blog About Optimism from Ron Capps

Erica...you tree'd me chica!

Great read Ron and good points about the fans and the season....and the gloom and doom we've all been subject to! You're as optimistic about this season as you always are....I expect nothing less!

I hope neither Ron or his fans will take this the wrong way. However, with Tommy and Melanie on the sidelines, the racing won't be the same for me. Fans have their favorite drivers. When their drivers aren't there, it's a big reason to look to save a few bucks in these tough economic times. For me, I'll still go to Englishtown but Reading's debatable. It's gas, hotel, tickets, & meals that really add up. I'm glad Ron is still racing in '09. Just wish there were others joining him. :(

Yes, Ron is my favorite...BUT I will miss all of those not out there this season. It's one big happy family to me. The drivers and their teams are welcomed 'guests' into my home during race weekends. I'm sad for all that haven't been able to nail down sponsorships and/or guarantee full seasons. :(

That being said, if Ron somehow lost his ride....I would still go to the races I am planning on going to now. Two of the biggest reasons are (1) my love for the SPORT and (2) my wonderful FRIENDS I've made because of this website. :)
