He's looking good so far...ran a career best 4.71 yesterday in qualifying

I meant to post something on here about Del's great 1st qualifying run, and his best E.T. ever as well, but was too tired to type anything last night. So thanks for giving him the kudos, but the likelihood of Del facing John Force in the 1st rd is not possible at this time, but maybe his partner Phil Burkhart can pull that one off for you (and me) again. Based on the current qualifying runs, if John stays qualified 3rd, and Phil somehow drops 4 postitions to 14th, then they could meet up 1st rd. Looks like some good teams might be on the outside looking in when qualifying ends on Saturday as there are 4 good cars not qualified right now. It will be interesting.
