Get well soon Alexis

Hopes for a speedy recovery.
Anyone else raising an eyebrow how you can break a pelvis in a properly built-properly fit seat? Or have heard of it ever happening?

I doubt this is the case for a woman in her thirties, but osteoporosis comes to mind. With weakened bones, much easier to break.

Another though is a belt not fastened tight enough and the G force of deceleration through her hip agains the belt with such force it broke the pelvis. This is unlikely, though, as I see how much they cinch the belts when the driver climbs into the car.

That was a hard hit. When I saw it I told my wife she might have broke some ribs on that one. If it wasn't for the work on the cages that was done after Eric Medlens death she probably would have been knocked out and ran it down the wall until she hit the traps.

educated guess alexis will not be racing in brainerd this weekend? haven't read anything?
press release today stating courtney will drive this weekend.

They just announced she won't be there, they are aiming for a Indy return and that's still not a certain. As long as she is safe in the top 10, I don't see any reason to race and risk further injury. She will be still be able to race for a Championship come Charlotte.
