If you are planning a trip to Florida please check first because they were stopping cars when they enter the state with out of state license plates to explain to them that they can enter the state but must self quarantine for 14 days. I believe that they are also taking your information and then checking up to make sure you are following the rules.

Maybe by the time you come this nightmare will be over for all of us. Many stores will only let you enter if you are wearing a mask over your nose and mouth.

The border check was just going onto effect when we left Orlando driving to Tucson in March. It had a couple of weeks of pseudo-enforcement in April (I knew a few folks that drove or flew down from NY, and nobody stopped them from going back before the 2 week self-quarantining period).
Now? Florida is pretty much wide open, according to the Governor, so now it's just a case of determining where Hell is breaking loose and avoiding that area...

The Florida governor has stated when asked about when sports will return that it is in the distant future. On 5/13 2020 he said sports can return but without fans and spectators.
It's important to keep in mind that he takes his marching orders from president so that means what happens in Florida could change at anytime.

Many states are leaving the whole business of who can open and when they open up to local towns and cities which also complicates everything because now you might have a drag strip open in one town but not in the next within the same state. It is really getting very confusing trying to figure out what's going on in each state.

Wisconsin Supreme Court just ruled that the governor cannot order the entire state to be closed and said that should be left up to local towns and cities to decide.

I would not want the job of the racing sectioning bodies trying figure out if a local circle track or drag strip is going to be open or not. Things are simply changing faster then they can plan events right now.
