Even if we're allowed to get on with life, how different will it be? I went to Costco yesterday, wore my mask, & most of the people in line also had masks. We're getting used to this. If I went to the drags in June, I'd be nervous that the folks around me could have the virus & not know it. Same w/ going to the movies, or ballpark or what have you. I would be happy if races start again & allow people to watch on line, or pay per view or like that. Would be strange to race with empty stands, but a lot safer for racers & crews. I would HATE not being able to go the the track, but....
By then they will have instant check for virus prick of finger and away you go, get there early they will be checking everyone at the gate spectators teams everyone will be checked.

They are saying virus can't survive summer temp and sunshine, if so maybe mother nature will give everyone a break from this virus spreading and maybe have vaccine by fall.

It may slightly reduce how long the virus lives outside, but here in FL there are more people indoors during the summer probably haha.

Luke, you guys are like Arizona. Go from your air conditioned house, to your air conditioned car, to your air conditioned job...... And the tourist post cards, showing a skeleton crawling in the desert "but it's a dry heat". heh

If the turn out of Florida's beaches could be used for any indication, the Gator's may have some buns in the seats.

This China made virus is a flu called Covid-19. I have 'a good friend that is an Infectious disease doctor I meet him in hospital after he saved my life. He said this flu like all others go dormant in summer climate, if you think about it very few catch flu in summer. Hopefully sooner than later they will make a vaccine to stop this crazy thing.

I live in Florida and like I posted up there ^^^ there's no chance in hell that they'll have the Gators on June 7th. The governor said yesterday that he'll probably extend the State's stay-at-home order for another Month until the end of May.

Hey Dave Gerard, here's a reliable source for ya...

hey bob, look up herd immunity in sweden. i'm not saying it's the 100% correct answer, but i am saying that our country's continued 'lockdown' method is not the only solution......notice that sweden is
expecting herd immunity in the month of may. wouldn't that be nice if the USA could say that too? maybe we will be able to, if the virus is still spreading in our country, regardless of how
scared, sheltered, and protective our citizens have become.

I also live in Florida and it is important to remember that our governor takes his marching orders from our president.
He has said in his news briefings that he will wait to hear from Washington on when to open up the state again.

So even though we still have New cases everyday and more people passing away I believe that if he received the phone call he would reopen everything.

FWIW, the Tampa Bay Lightning and Florida Panthers (and the rest of NHL) are now “preliminarily, kinda-sorta, maybe, hopefully but still iffy, possibly, still waiting to see how this all plays out” looking at resuming play in July. And that May be only at a few neutral arenas spread around the US.

NHRA announced that they're postponing all the divisional events scheduled for the month of May.

Well, that theory has been blown to hell... Its been hot and getting hotter here in Arizona for the past two weeks, with non-stop sunshine, and the numbers in the state keep rising.

Personally, I am positive this thing has got our species figured out and isn't even close to being done cleaning our clocks. That being said, the better half and I are going to Gainsville in June, or whenever, because...hell, if we're going out, might as well do it while enjoying life. Wearing the mask, keeping our distance, but every week we hear of another way this is kicking our asses, and at some point, we just can't see it all being over while huddling in the corner of the house. If this shite wants to get me, it's going to have to hit a moving, fighting target.
