Did I miss something in the off season? Sounded like Richard Gadson had some shade thrown at him after winning the championship that he felt obliged to comment on while receiving his trophy. And based on the heat he was throwing back, he definitely has been stewing about this for months.

Well, you know the mouth breathers in their dimly lit basements in-between porno binge sessions go on Facebook/Instagram/Twitter and make comments about you not earning something, even though you followed the same rules as everyone else or you've been hired because a box needed to be check. It's mostly sour grapes from the "'ef your feelings crowd."

what's everyone's thoughts on bald spots between 60'-330'. didn't i read that gainesville (nhra) had rebuilt the first half of
the dragstrip leading into this year? mighty mack eluded to this as well. how do you have a track that tested so well during
the PRO test, then not so much for pre-race test and then the race? i get the temps were up, but why are there bald spots?
there are not adequate track prep methods to alleviate this?

That track has a major issue with rubber not sticking to the surface. It’s been that way for several years. It’s even worse after it rains.

i think the track was ground and leveled for so many feet off starting line?
the 345mph was in the left lane a couple weeks ago.
and then TF finals yesterday were a win and loss in the left lane.

unrelated: rwr with tuning method to ensure (2) identical entries. clay never tested well. sporadic thru qualifying,
then shakes violently in E1 yesterday...... clay's specific car seems to be struggling.

jim head's livery is unique this year. large area looks like it's just waiting for a sponsor decal.
the colors are very reminiscent of a sponsor that's been with other teams over the years,
although the article about the team on DI.com mentions outlaw beer coming onboard as an assoc. sponsor.

Jim's comment on the car is he refuses to use a wrap and only a real paint job. The car looks great and certainly has plenty of room for a sponsor.

complus has article on gainesville racing surface. yes, all have to contend with same surface.
how long has this been a problem if rubber lifts from week to week or day to day depending on weather, and track prep can not remedy?
is this a 2000's problem? 2010's? now? is the new realm of upper 330's and lower e.t.'s part of problem?, or is it just
aggregate and racing surface, combined with soil under track and immediately surrounding the racing surface? (drainage)
the entertainment suffers if the racing product is unpredictable, especially on raceday.
if this persists, IMO i don't mind seeing the correct calls getting down the lane, but if lanes are not equal, then IMO it's not good.
