Cliff, how bout a first hand thought on that race, where did you sit?

Was not at that race. Never went to that track. I think it was closed before I got out of the military (1968). I just thought it was a good video to watch. Kinda like going back in time. I know most of the cars in the video. I was in the Air Force from 1964-1968, so I missed a lot of the "Golden Years" at Lions, etc. Did read about it in the drag mags of the time. When I came home in 1968, started going to Fernando, Lions, etc, so a lot of my memories are from 1968 - present. Altho, I do remember some races at Lions in 1963 and of course San Fernando.
