Gainseville tickets??

For the newly-announced F1 Grand Prix in New Jersey, they are predicting average ticket price for the three-day event should be $360 per adult, and (a report says) "all attendees will have a true seat to sit in".

That's comforting. At $120 a day, I'd be a bit miffed at having to stand the whole time.

Or, for the same $360, four days in the Top Eliminator Club at Gainesville.

I know which I'd choose.

I wonder if they mean an actual seat as compared to a flat wooden or aluminum bleacher seat?

are there usually reserved seats for sale @ the gate for either sat. or sun.?
or do these seats sell out? (pit side)

Just printed out my tickets - section A rows 40-42 under the shade all weekend. :D

Now debating on whether to get a preferred parking pass....

anyone have an answer? thinking about going, but won't pre-buy, would
just pay at gate...... good chance for pit side seats? or would probably end
up with spectator side seats?

We get Top Eliminator seats, last year my cousin got 2 TEC seats for Sunday only, I don't ever remember them selling one day for TEC before so I would think you could get decent seats at the gate for any day.

The chance of getting the "good" seats on the pit side are good as long as you get to the ticket gate early on say Thurs or Fri.

We did this for the this year's Gator's, we won free Gen-Admin seats at the VIP drawing the year before and we upgraded them to reserved at ticket gate first thing on Friday.

As expected, section A through C was long taken but we still ended up with decent seats.
