So looking at the Fontana track in Google Earth got me roaming around. And I found Pacific Raceways, home of this weekends NHRA Event.

I thought, hey, how cool is that, the Google Earth picture was taken during a big drag racing event.

And I started looking around, I know the track well, and tried to figure out what event it was. It's not a national event, because the pro pit area is laid out differently. No, that's last summer's divisional event. Then I found this:

Our setup, you can even read the logo on the top of the tent. With the nose of the car sticking out the front.

Yes, it's silly, but I thought it was fun.

Unfortunately, the give-away for me was the spectator parking lots are all empty!!! :( :( :(

If you use the history function on the top tool bar you can see top fuel on the line at Pomona. I think this is the Finals 2010. Pretty cool !!!
