I'll admit to tearing up during that interview. I remember when I visited the Garlits Museum a few years ago and saw all the personal letters and personal memorabilia from Don's non-racing life on display. Pat must've been an amazing woman, and thanks to Don for having the strength to share it with us.

Don's been through a lot lately, with Art Malone, T C Lemons, and now Pat passing.....I hope he considers the entire racing community as his family to lean on....we won't let him down
