I didn't think it would take too long for someone to be able to recognize the old Bristol. You wouldn't know it by today's tower.

Gawd, Hughes looked soooooo young... and danny O looked like a kid... ya noticed the holes in the hood on the stang... for the wing struts.. same through the back window... think the car ran 223 that weekend rolling the lights... was an AHRA event... how do I know, my Drag News told me so... I didn't know what years Larry was with them and NHRA before starting IHRA in 71. I'm getting a kick just from seeing funny cars WITH a back window. I like that 150 MPH prediction, also.
