Absolutely hilarious. Kudos to the guy who introduced his buddy to supercharged CH3NO2.
A few years ago we took my wife’s best friend to the vegas track for her first time at the drags, got her right up to fench by the starting line for first pair of TF/FC, after they went by she turned to us with the wildest look in her face and yelled my fillings are lose, love the video guys

I was really hoping he would leave the walker behind, and moon walk out to the parking lot.

... awesome
OK, Ray, you’ve got me laughing so hard, I’ve got tears in my eyes.
I’m going to be laughing all night on that one.

Yes - There are a lot of extreme sports and events to watch - they usually only affect one or two senses. Nitro burning cars are probably the only thing that you can Feel - See - Hear - Smell and Taste all at once. You as a spectator are really part of the experience! The driver has one more HUGE thing in the experience - Super concentration and somewhat the ability to control what is happening. The reason TV doesn't give you that same sensation is you are missing one of those senses - Feel. It is minor but still significant because really when else do you use all of your senses when you are a spectator and not actually a first person participant.

RedBulls first promo? ... vision Ted, I like it.

lol
Ray,
I swear I laughed for 10 minutes after making my first post last night.
My wife wanted to know why I was laughing so hard. I showed her the video, then showed her your post. She had a good laugh as well.
NHRA needs to pay for that video and use it on TV ads.
But, if Red Bull does get involved, that would make a great video for their product.

This might be one of the most genuine first timer reactions I've ever seen. Going from genuinely scared to cheering as they go by shows in many ways the power of nitro. I think we all had the same reaction the first time we saw a fuel car. It shows young or old, man or woman how deep that hook it set when you see one for the first time.

Talking about the hook.... When I first started going to the drags at San Fernando, one race that really stood out was a Top Gas race, with the twin engined dragsters. The noise they made and the speed. One ran 177 MPH & I think at the time that was the fastest speed I'd ever seen. 177.... blew me away! Talk about puttin' in the hook... I still remember that today 60 years later.
