They didn't come close to making the field this weekend but at least the bike was at the track and passed tech.

Why did they get rid of the Buell? Not that the Kawi doesn't look cool, but still....

Because of the new rules allowing the new engines Muzzy decided to try his hand at another Kawi. Muzzy and Kawi have been linked together for what seems like forever in some way. He ran their roadracing program very successfully in the 90's.

This will be a tough field to get into with a yet to be proven engine.
Not to mention doing it a that elevation.
But I'm sure they will get things where they need to be soon.

I was wondering WHY they showed a DQ after the first round of qualifying... He ran 8.124

I wasn't sure if it was a typo, or my first thought was they didn't pass tech... But that was Friday, and no one brought it up, so I let it go...

Just wondering what the deal was...
Very nice looking bike... I might be able to work with that design...
