The webiste is listing it will premier in Reno, NV on Aug 9th, followed by Birmingham, MI (outside Detroit) on Aug 14th, and Avon, In (near Indy) on Aug 30.

I'm glad this movie is going out to theaters first. It should be great to see on the big screen. I usually don't go to the movies, but plan on going for this.

That said, it would not surprise me if this movie was available for Christmas on DVD. I don't mean that in a way that the movie will be bad or a bomb, just that those involved will want to capitalize as best they can. Having it available as a holiday DVD release will help to bring in even more money. Besides there is not as big of a turnaround from theater to DVD as there used to be.
