Thanks...I remember that B/ED. When I saw it, it was kinda brand new I think. I went on Sat to the old Irwindale. It was raining but I went anyway. Talked with you in the pits & finally helped load the car in the trailer. Good memory.
We had a lot more "fun" in Comp. Eliminator and didn't have "Nitro Motor" type damages!
In the late 70's, Butters wanted to retire and go fishing, so we sold off the entire B/ED operation to a guy in Colorado.
Shortly after, three of the guys [Moeller-Whitby-Jackman] who helped on the B/ED bought a front engined car for the then new "cheap" C/ED class and I shook down the car and drove for them for a couple of years. I later joined them as a partner after Darryl Jackman passed away.
