Is the ESPN2 show still on for 10pmET? I know there's a friggin' basketball game on before that so we still get screwed for starting on time, but a post on JFR's twitter page said something about "Qualifying show on ESPN2 at 5 p.m. PT". Just wondering...

are we about ready to call bravo sierra D? Is there a rule about less than two sessions they fill the fields with top 10 then bump down from there?

Didn't PRO have an agreement with NHRA to insert top ten provisionals in the event of one shot qualifying? Bristol 2005?

The plan was Pros round 1 qualifying, Top Alcohol Round 1 eliminations, Pros round 2 qualifying. I left as soon as the rain started during Top Alcohol Funny Car; there was no way they were going to get the track dried in time to beat that Pomona curfew.

Well I do remember something like that, because it screwed V a few times, but I haven't checked the new rulebook maybe they changed it or its not applicable to the first race of the year.
