Took a look at Cox Communication's 2007 Phoenix lineup.
Channel 732 . . . ESPN2 HD!
We're gonna have a BIG Pomona Party - 61 inches of HD drag racing with surround sound -

Here in central OK we got ESPN2HD on Cox two days after the finals. :( Now I'm REALLY anxious for the new season!

Houston is swapping cable providers this year - Cox replaces Time-Warner. Not sure what will change, if anything, but hopefully we will shift to the Cox channel lineup and pick up ESPN2HD.

Late edit - my first mistake of the year. It's Comcast that's replacing Time-Warner in Houston, not Cox. Don't know if the channel lineup will change or not. In fact, haven't heard much of anything about the transfer since the announcement.

Cox just gave us ESPN2 HD on December 12 here in Vegas. Also added ESPNU the same day. I called it my "early Christmas present".

I have Comcast here in the Chi-town suburbs and there is nothing like watching drag racing in HD. It makes the broadcast that much better, trust me!

I have to say that HD is pretty cool. I have a 65in big screen that is preety new so I'm not ready to make the change yet.

Congrat's but Directv had it a month after the channel started broadcasting.
The picture quality is better also.
A friend of mine has Comcast with the HD package and it was so noticable he dropped Comcast and got Directv. ;)

Bob - didn't have any reason to look at HD lineup until I got the new TV!
Also, the first 100 channels of Cox lineup were analog until December -
if you want to see a REALLY bad picture, view analog feed on a 60" HD - :D

Jim, I do everyday and I just dont think that I'll trade my 65 in right now for HD. My analog picture is pretty darn good.
