Sorry Ken, I wasn't whatchin the tube , but was listening to the audioocast from the track as Dixon made his run.................the Internet connection dropped....ARGHHH!
got it back a few secs later and was waiting for Tony's round.......the damned thing dropped again............... THIS NEVER HAPPENS!
well Needless to say, I lost the 2 most wanted to hear passes this year and ATT gets my " Chapped Butt Award" for this years racing.

I suggest you change your title of this thread to reflect your local service provider, as I had no problems whatsoever.
In fact, I thought it was a pretty good show. Not much fluff, just mostly racing.

Yea i lost it on my reg tv and went to HD tv and was ok.

Not the service provider as I lost mine at the same time. Called the cable company to rip them. While on the phone, I figured out the only channel I didn't have was.....you guessed it.......espn2. The guy at the cable company (in another town) tried to get it on the tv in his office, and couldn't. espn, as usual, sucks the long one.

I did call my local service provider, it was an ESPN problem (it was the only channel of all the channels I have that went off)

Paul I realize you're not gonna believe this but I actually tried, last night before qualifying I figured if we're stuck with this then having 2 teams with only a point between them is what they wanted and that maybe I should sip the koolaid and give it a try. Watched qualifying...or at least started didn't bother finishing. Tried again today...before the first round was done I was already channel surfing and didn't see anything past the 1/4 way through the second round. To be honest I kinda wish I could just be the sheep and follow whatever they say.....I just can't. I guess I just expect more from a championship or even a playoff system. I suppose thats why I'm not into reality shows either. I'm just turned off by anything phony or staged or overly manipulated.
Honestly I really wish I could just go with whatever they say and accept it. I guess I just have too much repsect for the history of the sport to do that.

Screw the points thing, Peej... you missed a pretty goood ol' day of drag racing all around. That's too bad man- you seem like the kind of fan that likes the sport. Today could have been about the points thing, but I saw it as a bunch of really talented teams going out for the last blast of the year, and not one of them disappointed...
