erica, you are in our hearts and prayers, my wife had a simmilar scare a few years back. we are praying you will be 100% like she is now. stay strong, think positive, and get well very soon!
I don't know if this will help Erica but my wife is a cervical cancer survivor.
She had to have a conization were they remove a cone plug from her cervix.
It sounds to me like you have been very active it monitoring and getting tested. I hope the best for you.
It is one of the most curable cancers if detected early.
It is eerie she has the same kind of relationship with her biological family so you are not alone and it's their loss as far as I'm concerned! Stay strong we are all pulling for you.
Please take what I'm about to say as coming from someone who is going through the cancer battle with my fiance and wishes the very best for you...
Do not rely on your local doctors to provide you with the best method of treatment. If at all possible plan a trip to the Cancer Treatment Center of America.
Didi have been receiving her treatment for breast cancer at the CTCA. We are very grateful for this. There is no place that compares... PERIOD!
Your prognosis should be very good. But I would not take any chance with the people who are treating you.
It really takes something special to be able to share the info. I can't imagine that that blog was easy to write. I have'nt met you in person Erica, but take to heart the notion that we will be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.
Have positive thoughts and positive people around you. Ask a million questions and question the answers that don't make sense or satisfy you. My mother passed away in Oct after an 8 yr battle with stage 4 colon cancer, and 3 different times she beat the odds. I am sorry you have such a sketchy past with your mother. I don't know you, but have read your entries and feel she is missing out on so much. You sound like a wonderful, strong person. Use that to your advantage now with the battle you may be facing.
Find peace at the end of each day and be thankful at the beginning of the next one. Good advise that everyone should follow.
Prayers and thoughts with you and your loved ones.
