Lou Holtz once said that Fayetteville Arkansas wasnt the end of the earth, but you could see it from there. You know, I aint that far from Fayetteville. Would that mean the black hole would cover me? Or am I already in the black hole? Would I be inside the hole looking out, or outside the hole looking in? And why are all the Yellow Freight trucks painted orange and not yellow. That was the biggest fear (setting the atmosphere on fire) at Trinity Site... they (the scientist involved) really weren't sure what would happen when they popped the first one off... and surprised to find the 'field of glass' at sunrise... they weren't nutballs, they were the people that spent almost five years building this thing from nothing but figures on paper.

And they had justified concerns when they popped the first hydrogen device off underwater. call it a fifty/fifty shot of uncontrollable chain reaction in a media that is one part hydrogen, two parts oxygen.

guessed right twice... the neutron devices made it three and 0...

but hey, if the new particle accelerator/collider screws up, don't think any of us will know... at least not on this rock

That's about as much sense as sending exploration modules out into space with a map of our solar system and an indication of where we are on it! Like I've heard more than one comedian mention, I don't think that's such a good idea. What if they view us as one big McDonald's?
