In the write up announcing the 2023 schedule.( NHRA.com) Theirs a part near the end saying That the NHRA will be singing with the Fairplex into the next decade. Obviously Fake News !!

The Winternationals and the finals are a Cash Cow for the whole area around there. The businesses don’t want it to go away.

Having been a resident of California for most of my life, and now live in New England, I get so sick of hearing people who don't live in California throw California under the bus whenever they can. The flavor of the day seems to be 'damn liberals in California' etc etc blah blah blah. There's a reason why it's the most populous state in the union. California is smart and doesn't just care about the here and now, California leads the way in technology, the environment as well as countless other areas of industry. California is always looking to the future and developing in that fashion. As far as the Fairplex, it isn't going anywhere anytime soon, however, one day it will and it will be the right thing to do...until then, quit yo complainin'.

This, 100%. It’s crazy how many people are keen to dance on a California grave whenever they get the smallest chance. Unfortunately they confuse having a political opinion with having a personality.
