Electrical Problem Sidelines Duane Shields at Brainerd (1 Viewer)

An intermittent electrical problem had the PEAK A/Fuel Dragster team chasing a gremlin for most of the weekend at the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals in Brainerd, MN.

Fortunately, the team was able to qualify fifth with a 5.32 at 271 MPH despite the distraction. In round one, Duane’s opponent, James Stevens, advanced to the next round when the electrical problem reappeared and sidelined the PEAK Team from going any further in eliminations. “We are disappointed but sometimes these problems strike out of nowhere. The good news is we have the problem fixed and we'll be ready for Indy in just a couple of weeks” Duane said.

Duane would like to thank PEAK Antifreeze and Motor Oil, Final Charge, Blue Def, NGK Spark Plugs, GRP and Brad Anderson Enterprises for their continued support.
