Eddie Krawiec 6.77@200?

Is anyone besides me wondering why this didn't happen a long time ago?

It's called running with a throttle stop, which they've been doing for quite some time. Since only V&H has access to those engines, only they know how fast they'll really go.

now for the first 200 in national event competition, I do not think it will be at Gainesville. Maybe houston or of course you all know where I want it to happen (NY and NJ are entitled, we deserve the cool moments )

Just looked at the forecast for this weekend and it is supposed to be around 80 all weekend. I don't see 200 falling this weekend. Houston at the end of April will need a cold front to come through in order 200 to be broken, so I don't see it happening there. I think the most likely places to see the 200mph barrier broke would be either E-Town or Sonoma.

I saw that too, Paul.

I haven't looked at the schedule, but is there an evening session? One late enough in the afternoon/evening that could dip the temps into the low 70's? That might git-er-done.

I think we need to turn down the panic a notch. How much quicker is his 6.77 than the record?--Umm.. .006. How many more Mph? 1? If Mike Edwards did a 6.47 @ 214 in pre-season, would anyone freak?
I know-200 is an importiant sounding number-and the Harley hate, but this is just a good run in good conditions with a championship team. I'd be more suprised if they went slow. Shouldn't you be quicker after a winter of working in the shop?
I wonder what Hector coulda run in those conditions? ;)
