Eaton To Sponsor “Run What Ya Brung” at Milan Dragway

February 2, 2007 - Southfield, Michigan - Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation is proud to announce it’s sponsorship of the 2007 “Run What Ya Brung” class held during the Skinny Kid Race Cars Friday Night Heads-Up Racing Series held at Milan Dragway. Eaton, no stranger to Milan Dragway, continues to grow its involvement with the Milan facility and it’s patrons through programs such as this.

“We are thrilled to be part of this series,” said Mike Rasnick, Lead Technologist for Eaton’s automotive group. “Milan’s Friday Night Heads-Up events are wild and intense. The “Run What Ya Brung” class is what Drag Racing is all about. Run what ya brung and hope ya brung enough”.

The Eaton “Run What Ya Brung “ class is limited to the fastest eight door cars on the grounds. This class features a diverse cross section of door slammers including Pro Modifieds, Pro Stock, Pro 5.0, Pro Outlaw and Top Sportsman. These cars will run Heads-Up on a pro tree, utilizing a sportsman ladder. What makes this class unique is there are very few limitations outside of safety devices. There is no minimum weight, no rule on tire size, engine size or the power adder used.

The Eaton ”Run What Ya Brung” Class will be featured on the following dates:

April - Friday the 13th!

May - Friday the 4th
June - Friday the 1st

July - Friday the 6th

August - Friday the 3rd

September Race Warz III Friday and Saturday the7th & 8th
October - Friday the 5th​
