DRO should pay attention!

Rumors are just that...a theory that is uncertain of how much truth it bears, But they are not doing rumors, there taking rumors and promoting them like a confirmed press release. Yes, DRO gets some right...but most of the time they are not even close. I know people like DRO and i'm sure you do too, they hear gossip about somebody or something and they completely tell you the story as if that's what really happened or over exaggerate to make their false fact sound truthful. It's not right to do that.

Patrick...I don't have anything against DRO, in fact I like the publication. I don't take anything I read on line as fact unless it's a press release from a team or driver.

That is very true, however, if it's on a team or drivers website I feel pretty good about it's authenticity.

A classic example is DRO and the whole al-anabi thing. It leads people to think the al-anabi left. Maybe I'm too hard on them, but I just dont like the News and the rumors being so closely written and some of the rumors are written with the attitude that they are true.

See..I didn't read that into what was written on the agent. I found it interesting that they had taken the vinyl off the trailers, but was more interested in what the new vinyl was going to look like. I didn’t see anywhere where they said they lost sponsorship.

Why do you have such a hard-on for those guys anyway?

Patrick's just bored lately so he's taking it out on DRO. Too many rumors, not enough official press releases lately I guess?

Lance is actually right...I like rumors, I love silly season....but after awhile there needs to be a filter between what's halfway true, not true at all, and oddball. I'm sticking to comp plus. Sure they post far less rumors a month but the reason is the truth plays a big part. I mean anyone can start a rumor and create speculation out of something, but i want to at least have truth as a big property to what I hear or read.

I find it interesting that they had to modify their trailers to comply with Kalifornia's laws. By my unofficial measurement they had to take off somewhere between 4 and 6 feet. Wonder how many teams had to modify their trailers. Probably 10 grand just to do that.

Actually, the number we've been hearing is $22-$25k per trailer and it's not just California laws. The same law exists in many states including Indiana where most of the teams are based. The Indiana DOT has also made it clear it will step up enforcement of its trailer regulations.
