The stands were pretty empty but lots of great racing and fast cars.

The original driver from 1950's drove this car,I believe he won the 1rst event at Famoso.

I spoke to Zombie from Rod & Kulture on Sunday and the dates are May 7-9
He is still considering cutting it to a 2 day event to help everyone save a couple of dollars, but the DRIVE-IN WILL BE BACK!

I went to this event this year and had a blast! It was to bad the crowd was so small. Plenty of Nitro and of course the baddest fuel altered on the planet, The Winged Express was there. That sold me. I bought a great photo and got it signed by Mike Boyd. Great time I definetely recommend attending next year.

I had my car there in 09. Was a BLAST. the drive in was worth the price of admission. The track was excellent, and the atmosphere was the best. All about fun.

We were there last year too and had a great time. The talk in the Gasser's pit area during the CHRR was that it seemed to be what the March Meet use to be like. Some even suggested that they would skip the March Meet and all the kaos that now goes with it now, and race Drag Fest instead.

I will spectate at the March Meet, however, i'll be racing at the ANRA opener & dragfest. I'm far more interested in supporting Butch & Dragfest
