As you probably know we have ended up doing charity car shows for people in need a couple times a year. First, it was a big outdoor show and now we do an indoor show which is risky to do because of the overhead involved. Indoor shows are a whole different animal I'm learning.

We sounded the call on the Mater, Drag Racing Online and National Dragster for some shirts and other memorabilia we could use as raffle prizes for our next show in Albany Oregon on January 31. First, NHRA Top Fuel racer Steve Torrance donates a shirt and then Cheryl Leister comes through with a hat signed by most of the pro stock bike racers in Indy. And then today a check comes from someone in New York and then a box comes full of t-shirts and other stuff from an annonamous donor.

The person we are doing this show for is an eight year old girl who has a brain tumor and is living in a converted garage behind a college dorm. All we want to do is help her and her mom live a little more comfortably. So thanks to everyone who has helped out and thanks to who ever this donor is. What a nice thing for everyone to do at Christmas time.

You can get updates on the show by going to Cap Racing Home Page
