How much power does it generally take to lay down a 243mph pass? I'm sure it's a light car but I'd think 2500 minimum. Out of a 2.3 liter Honda 4 cylinder. They must be running 100 pounds of boost through that thing.

So I have a Honda Fit and.......... Gotta wonder what it's like to drive a car like that. Noted on the record run that it did a pretty good wheelie when it shifted to 2nd gear. Have seen that happen in a lot of 1/8 mile Pro Mod races. Wow.....

That certainly is a very high top end speed for such a tiny engine.

Not sure what boost they run but there are certainly slower cars running a lot more than 100psi

Engines aside, the cars themselves are pretty high spec - I believe Brunet’s car (only 5.95) is ex-Edwards PS based.
