Guess who showed up for lunch yesterday with Bob? The one and only Alan Reinhart! Alan drove down from Gainesville as he wanted to take a little time off and hit the beach before the Gators. I hooked him up with a nice beachfront hotel and he joined me for lunch at my favorite sports bar. Spent a couple of hours talking about everything drag racing and drinking beer, one of my favorite things to do. Any of you Maters who are in town are more than welcome to join me for lunch.

One more thing, as you can see I'm no longer wearing the Halo and I'm all healed up, thanks everyone who messaged me during my recovery.

Just returned to Gainesville, lunch was worth every mile driven. Good food, Great stories, and a very good recommendation on the beach hotel. Three thumbs up! Already looking forward to the next time.
