Demolition Drag Race-Really?

where about you from ? I live in Hebron, can hear them race every weekend. Went by the track last night the cars were backed up onto 40 all the way to 37

I live southeast of Chillicothe. I grew up in Circleville. Spent most of my childhood weekends at Trails with my uncle from ‘79 until he passed in ‘87.

I can't imagine anyone would put a real drag racing car in a demolition race. These will almost certainly be old junkers such as those used in traditional demolition derbies. I remember as a kid watching a demolition derby where they had cars with Model A and 32-34 bodies. Since then I've never been a big fan of demolition derbies.

I went to Bike Week in Myrtle Beach one year and strangely enough ended up at a Motorcycle Demo Derby. The riders had styrofoam padding duck taped to all of their bodies. Never laughed so hard in my life.
