Anyone know what David is doing these days? I haven't heard much of anything since the Mopar Pro Stock deal ended. I met him at several events and always found him open and willing to greet fans. I certainly appreciate his (and Larry Morgan's) efforts in creating the new generation HEMI Pro Stock engine. Obviously, he had a great idea.

McGaha/Nickens going fulltime NHRA Pro Stock racing in 2012?

One of the Agent’s Texas sources called to say that the word going around the Lone Star State is that Chris McGaha, who got a taste of NHRA Pro Stock racing by renting a ride from Richard Freeman’s Oklahoma-based Elite Motorsports, is going to field a new Jerry Haas “lightweight” Mopar Pro Stock in 2012 and has signed up premier Mopar engine builder David Nickens.

According to the Agent’s source the McGaha team is just waiting for the car to come out of the paint shop so they can start testing. [10/10/2011]
