Caught that yesterday on FB. Great car! As I've posted many times before, I'm a huge A/A fan (really all altereds) due to my dad running that class in the 60s-70s. David has been running that car on and off for several years, glad he's been really running quite a bit of late.

definitely a short tow from merritt island over to orlando speedworld.....i think there's a double divisional this weekend?
dave made long haul to brainerd this summer. took a look at his car. it's quite the piece. thanks ken m. for the video. love the in-car cameras.
dave went red in semi's in brainerd to brett speer, who took very close win over bruno in his a/ea altered.

I think the index for that class is 7.20 something - so what does this car run all-out? 6.50s? Looks like it's running what amounts to a Gray Pro Stock engine but it doesn't sound like the RPM is anywhere near what they actually reached back in the PS carburetor era (11,000+).

remember always enjoying the ultra quick 'pappy's pride' altered that tom snyder drove out of denver area. seem to remember similar 500 c.i. PS style motor.
maybe was madcap engine?

And the "Vita C" altered that had a pro stock engine in it years ago. Car was a killer.

Hey Randy is that Don Waite's car? He was an A/A killer for many years, and in fact I believe he's the guy who reset the A/A speed record that my dad held for almost a year back in 70-71.
