CUMMINS, GA.'S TERRY JENKINS SELECTED AS NAPA HONORARY CREW MEMBER IN ATLANTA

COMMERCE, Ga. (April 27, 2008) – Terry Jenkins of Cummins, Ga., was named the sixth NAPA AUTO PARTS Honorary Crew Member of the 2008 NHRA Drag Racing Series on Sunday at the NHRA Southern Nationals at Atlanta Dragway.

As an assistant service director of Just Right Auto Sales, Jenkins was selected after winning a contest for the highest sales increase over the month leading up to the Southern Nationals. The contest was open to all the NAPA AUTO PARTS stores across the state of Georgia. During the season the NAPA distribution centers at each event will have different criteria for choosing the people who are potential NAPA Honorary Crew Members.

"I really enjoy drag racing," said Jenkins, "and I'm very excited about the opportunity to meet Ron Capps and all the NAPA team members. I've only been to a handful of drag races and this is a real honor. I could end up being an even bigger fan of drag racing by the end of the day."

Jenkins had the opportunity to escort the NAPA AUTO PARTS Dodge Charger R/T Funny Car driven by Ron Capps to the staging lanes in the team's Dodge Durango tow vehicle during the first round of eliminations and then helped retrieve the car at the end of the track following the run. He also received a NAPA team shirt and met the entire NAPA AUTO PARTS Dodge crew.

NAPA AUTO PARTS, which is headquartered in Atlanta, had several key company personnel on hand at the NHRA Southern Nationals. NAPA President Bob Susor and his wife Lin, Gaylord Spencer, Vice-President of Marketing Strategies, and Mike Rearden, Manager of Sponsors and Events, all took in the action at Atlanta Dragway over the course of the weekend.
