I'm posting this on behalf of Brian Taylor who is writing the history of British drag racing, which will be published by Haynes Publishing in September 2008 under the title Crazy Horses – Britain's Drag Racing Heritage. The Foreword of the book will be written by none other than Don Garlits and the book will be available all over the world.
He would be interested if any of you have colour pics of the Allard Dragon at Pomona in the mid to late 1960s, Dennis Norman and the Pegasus bikes at Indy around the same time, Dennis Priddle and Clive Skilton at any of their early Winter trips to test and buy cars and Clive Skilton circa 1977/78 racing in the USA. I can be more accurate with the dates and car details.
