Cool stuff. As a guy who worked as a machinist for a number of years before and while in school to become a mechanical engineer, I look at those parts and they are art. Just beautiful.
Yes, that was a real good series of photos. Much better than I could ever get with my little point and shoot.
I saw who looked like Greg Ameral helping out in the Densham camp (former Densham student and crew chief). Hadn't seen Greg helping Gary in a while. Looks like he had his right arm in a sling though. Hope it wasn't a racing-related injury.
I also saw what looked like Kalitta cylinder heads. Didn't know that team was making their own heads.

Same here, I thought that they were using AJPE heads. Guess not.
Kalitta started prototyping their cylinder heads in late 2015.
