Found this whilst surfing @ work today!!!
Gotta scroll down a bit to the pics.
There is a gallery of them.

Never realized how many "Oh $$$$hits" there are with vessels that big.
Running into docks, other ships, islands etc etc etc.

And loose containers floating around at sea!!

looks like someone forgot to torque the motor mounts to spec.

I used to know a guy from Cape Cod who was a ship captain. He was technically retired at the time but they would call him in 2 or 3 times a year to fill in on one way/short trips when some one got ill, need time off to attened to family matters, etc. He would tell me stories about loosing cargo. He said a few times he would later find out what was actually in the containters that were dumped. Some times it was stuff like VCR's but orher times it was radioactive waste and the like. Scary stuff.
The last time we talked about 13 years ago he had just done a one way from Vladivostock Russia to the west coast. It was pretty amazing to hear of the places he has sailed.
