She makes my ass tired with all the jesus freak shit, but she deserves all the accolades for the win, she can drive and she has a great team behind her.

Yeah I feel the same, but with drag racing it's par for the course. Doesn't take away the effort, determination and skill it takes to win a title though.

This is true in general, I think, at least in sports and politics. I've not heard of an openly atheist athlete/politician when they're playing/in office. And I get the impression if they spoke out on their lack of belief, they would catch a lot of flak. But I never got this, this country was founded on freedom of/freedom free from religion. To each their own. I won't proselytize you if you don't proselytize me, and I'll keep my "agenda" out of government if you do the same. There are plenty of people who may not share a certain viewpoint and they shouldn't have that view foisted on them.

Congrats to Erica and her team on their win and congrats to Jason Line on the class he showed all day-your knew exactly how those two racers felt-they were nervous as hell and made no bones about it. At the end Jason went over and offered congrats to Erica and then had the guts to give a great interview. BTW, I noticed no punches were thrown-these drag racers will never make it in NASCAR. Last week I went to a hackey game and a Sprint Cup race broke out.

I`m not much of a G.M. fan, but I believe that the Pro/Stock Team that most represents the true spirit of racing just earned thier championship. Congratulations to Erica and the rest of the Elite Motorsports Team

I believe it is right to thank the Lord for a beautiful race day and the ability to be able to race in a free country, and to ask for a safe race day.....but we were given free will and our accomplishments are ours....otherwise as they say " did God not like the other teams as much as the winning ones?"

As for religion. People can believe whatever they want, I am a very happy athiest personally but I know plenty of religious people and in my mind its fine that they believe that, it doesn't matter. As long as you are happy and living your life the way you want to then who cares what others believe.

The tension in Pro Stock was palpable all day. EE was on her game, Elite was on their game and the best car from this past weekend and the best car from the whole season won the Championship. Good stuff, fun to watch.
