tony is a class act. one thing is for sure, though. we should be thankful for the overseas competition from al-anabi. they have made a huge investment in drag racing, and without their presence, it wouldn't have been nearly this exciting. the sheik will eventually have his day too.

your absolutley correct...they are becoming a big part of the US landscape and i do welcome it but i still am happy for the army team.... they came thru when nobody gave them a chance in febuary

Congratulations Tony, Don, and crew. I know this is not a popular opinion in NHRA drag racing but with all that's going on in the world I have trouble with foreign input in our country. Go Army!!

Congrats Tony, Mike and the ARMY TEAM

... And LEE BEARD!!

I'm surprised that there hasn't been more mention of LEE and HIS Contributions of being there @ DSR this year.

Beard is no slouch and to me, his experience has shown through
during this whole year of transition.

Congrats LEE Beard and the DSR Team/s!

Pete - you have got to learn to control your enthusiasm! :D
Congrats to the entire Army team - in spite of being counted out before the season began, it appears Shoe and Sarge have not forgotten how to race.

Jim,
Tony did a great job this year, and Mike is a great chief and the team gelled well together. I will be rooting for the ARMY Team again next Year!

I am really glad for Alans Team, Larry did his job well this year.

I am lucky to be where I am, and have the chance to have seen these teams flourish.

There are also cudo's that occasionally make it back to the power behind the power house. Don deserves a good amount of the congratulations for having the vision and the insight to make this all available for the teams to be able to do their best.

From a Larry Dixon fan, Congrats to Tony & Don Schumacher, Mike Green, the U.S. Army team, and DSR. You wear the #1 well.

I can't wait for 2010, it's gonna be fun.

Great job to Tony, Mike, Don, and the entire team! It was a great battle between Tony and Larry. Also, thanks to DSR for the heads up racing between teammates this year!

Emmett is WAY too full of himself tonight with his hero's big championship win... Congrats to the whole US Army team!

Man, Tony gets in those pressure-cooker situations and is just cool as a cucumber. Delivers the goods every time! Congrats to the entire team!
