I have a site that I have been going to for a while and lately when I click on I get an error message that says;

A script on this page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly. If it continues to run your computer might become unresponsive.

But only on my PC at the shop. the site opens just fine on my laptop, or on any other computer that I have tried.

The site is thenascarinsiders.com

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Alan

Alan; I think your puter is trying to tell you something. You are a DRAG RACE guy, BOATS/CARS. Not NASCAR STAY AWAY.:p

Alan,

By any chance do you have a virus program called AV ? I have seen weird messages caused by their antivirus program that are designed to get people to sign up with their service.

Otherwise there are a few things you can do to help:

If memory is below 4 gig then get it there. Windows takes 2.4 gig just to run properly.

Clear out your cache under Tools, Internet Options every 6 months or so.

Get a good antivirus, such as Norton.

Don

Alan, normally those type of alerts are from JavaScript errors.

Are both the laptop and pc using the same browser and same version, and, what are you clicking on to get the error?
