sure seems like he has a short fuse that can blow at a moments notice; a little excitement won't hurt anything. Double-bulbed "teammate" Hartford yesterday in Qualifying run and was already jawing a little with him in the top end interview.
So I’m, imagining the conversation between Cody and KB Titan went something like this:
Cody - hey Greg, whats going ? I’m paying you a lot of money and I am not winning races, what gives ?
Greg - you can’t just plop down a pile of cash and expect to start winning right away. It takes years of experience hundreds of runs to become a top player.
Cody - well, the cash I’m paying you has plenty of experience. It’s ‘cold’ and ‘hard’, so you can take your Camaro and shove it.
Cody - hey Richard Freeman, how are you doing? Greg is giving me the shaft over there at KB and I want to jump ship.
Richard - OK, but I have to warn you. We are currently a couple of hundreds behind KB and you’ll have to stand in line behind two other Coughlin‘s, the Stanfeilds and Erica so . . .
Cody - Umm, ok
Cody - hey Greg, ol’Buddy, ol’ Pal, I hope I wasn’t out of line with that crack about shoving the Camaro. Y’know I was only kidding right

I've had people double-bulb me; most of the times it's accidental but sometimes not. I know it's not proper etiquette; I've seen racers go bonkers when it happens to them but who cares. Hell, make 'em sit there awhile before you prestage. You ain't on the clock until you do and then it's just you, your car and the tree.

Chasing Speed had a pretty good segment on that. Ant spoke about Tony's bend of the rulebook last season and Smoke was demure about it, but Leah was a "bit" more animated.
